ไม้เถาเลื้อย มีนํ้ายางขาว ใบเดี่ยว ออกตรงข้าม รูปไข่กว้างหรือ เกือบกลม ดอกออกเป็นช่อห้อยจากซอกใบ ดอกย่อยสีเขียว จำนวนมาก มีกลิ่นหอม ผลเป็นฝักรูปรีแคบ ยาว ๘ – ๑๒ ซม. เมื่อแก่จะแตกออก ออกดอกช่วงเดือนเมษายน – กันยายน ขยายพันธุ์โดยการเพาะเมล็ด หรือปักชำต้น

Characteristics :

Dregea volubilis is a climber, with white latex. Leaves simple, opposite, broadly-ovate or suborbicular. Inflorescences in a hanging cluster with many flowers, flowers green or yellowish-green, fragrant. Fruits are narrowly ovoid, 8 – 12 cm long, dehiscent. Flowering in April – September. The plant can be propagated by seed or stem cutting.
